What properties are affected by MEES?

Most privately rented commercial buildings require a compliant EPC before a lease can be granted or renewed.

Can I let a property with an F or G EPC?

In many cases no, unless a valid exemption has been registered.

What happens if my commercial property is below an E rating?

Properties below an E rating may require energy efficiency improvements or, in some circumstances, may qualify for a registered exemption.

Can you help improve my EPC rating?

Yes. We can review your property and recommend practical improvements that may enhance its energy performance and support compliance.
