What is the minimum EPC rating?
Most commercial properties require an EPC rating of E or above to comply with current MEES regulations.
What is the difference between a domestic and non-domestic EPC
A domestic EPC is a calculation of energy costs for a residential property. A non-domestic EPC is a calculation of carbon use in the notional non-domestic building.
What happens if my commercial property is below an E rating?
Properties below an E rating may require energy efficiency improvements or, in some circumstances, may qualify for a registered exemption.
